[X] I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.
Overall summary
Pasting text (ctrl-v or menu) when writing a message can be undone/removed by hitting ctrl-z (or using menu). But if you paste in an image or attachment hitting undo (ctrl-z or menu) will not remove/undo it. You have to instead switch to mouse control and navigate to hit "x" on the attachment/image icon.
Expected result: ctrl-z (or undo from menu) should undo last action consistently. A paste of attachment or image should be removed by undo/ctrl-z just like text. It currently does not.
Steps to reproduce
REPRODUCTION: paste text into a message then hit ctrl-z; text removes;
Paste image or file attachment (copy from Windows Explorer) into message, then hit ctrl-z (or 'undo' on menu). Image or attachment are not removed (nothing happens).
Using a supported version?
