Arrow key direction doesn't change music seeking direction #6914

Using a supported version?

Overall summary

I sent a .wav file to someone on Signal. When I use the arrow keys to seek through the audio playback, every arrow key regardless of direction (left, right, up, down) seeks forward. I think the seek direction should be different for different arrow key directions.

I'm running Debian/Linux but my locale is en_US and I haven't changed my keymap at all. My arrow keys work as expected in all other programs.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Send a .wav audio file to your self (Note to Self)
  2. View the audio message on Signal Desktop
  3. Click the audio play button
  4. Click on the middle of the waveform to seek
  5. Hold down the left arrow key
  6. A solid border appears around the waveform
  7. Note that the track seeks forward

Expected result

Actual result

No matter which arrow key is pressed, the track seeks forward.

Screenshots

signal-audio-bug This is the UI that appears when you've clicked on a track and started holding down an arrow key. Not shown is that, regardless of which arrow key is pressed, the track always seeks forward.
