There is no "bypass censorship" function in the settings. #7024

Using a supported version?

Overall summary

There is a "bypass censorship" feature in the Android Signal settings. It works. In Signal Desktop, the feature is missing/was not there.

Russia has strict censorship: VPN is blocked, TOR is blocked (bridges are also blocked), Signal was also blocked in the summer. But it works on Android if you enable the "bypass censorship" function. Signal will not work on Desktop and it is pointless, consider adding the "bypass censorship" function to Signal Desktop as well.

Steps to reproduce

explore all Signal Desktop settings and don't find the "bypass censorship" feature.

Expected result

Waiting to go online.

Actual result

Signal cannot connect to the network, connection not established.

Sorry, this is an inconvenient format of the report, I can not accept it. If you have the opportunity and you are interested in solving the voiced problem, you can move the topic to your forum. Thank you.
