Overall summary
There is a "bypass censorship" feature in the Android Signal settings. It works. In Signal Desktop, the feature is missing/was not there.
Russia has strict censorship: VPN is blocked, TOR is blocked (bridges are also blocked), Signal was also blocked in the summer. But it works on Android if you enable the "bypass censorship" function. Signal will not work on Desktop and it is pointless, consider adding the "bypass censorship" function to Signal Desktop as well.
Steps to reproduce
explore all Signal Desktop settings and don't find the "bypass censorship" feature.
Expected result
Waiting to go online.
Actual result
Signal cannot connect to the network, connection not established.
