iPad crashes when opening share menu or camera

Bug description

The Signal iPad app crashes the iPad (not just the signal app) when opening the camera or the share menu.

Steps to reproduce

Open the Signal app
Do one of the following:
- open the camera using the icon in the top left hand corner
- open a chat and open the camera using the camera icon next to the text input
- open a chat and open the share menu using the "+" icon
wait 1-2 seconds

Actual result: The screen turns black for approximately one second, afterwards the home screen appears. This affects other apps as well (i.e., they are also restarted) and even Bluetooth devices (e.g., Airpods) are disconnected.

Expected result: Being able to take a picture or share things.

Device: iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (3rd generation)

iOS version: iPadOS 16.5

Signal version: 6.26.0.8

I send the link to the Debug Log to support@signal.org. There was no corresponding .ips report in the iPad Analytics Settings.

In the current version of the app (6.28.0.11) the issue seems to be confined to the + menu next to the text input field. Opening the camera no longer seems to trigger the crash.

@JanKleine I've gone ahead and filed this bug with our engineering team. While our engineers will be working on a fix, I unfortunately can't give out a specific timeline for a resolution. You may see a fix for this bug included in the release notes for future versions of Signal.
