Hi @shane25p,
We are aware of the problem and we are currently looking for a solution. Although our engineers are working on a fix, unfortunately I can't give a specific schedule for resolution. You might see a fix in the release notes for future versions of Signal.
In the meantime, can you tell me if your mic works during a call if you mute then unmute yourself?
@Miguel-Signal , Thanks for the response. I've checked muting and unmuting during a call and it works :-)
Let's begin with a checklist: Replace the empty checkboxes [ ] below with checked ones [x] accordingly. -->
Bug description
Unable to send voice message, always at 0.00 and the person I am calling is not hearing me. Seems like an issue with microphone access or drivers. ***Microphone permission is already allowed on iPhone
Tried to reinstall the App, cleared the app data, but the issue remains.
I've checked this with my friends iPhone 14 pro ma (same iOS and Same Signal Version, no issues), this seems to only affect iPhone 13 pro
Steps to reproduce
Actual result: Describe here what happens after you run the steps above (i.e. the buggy behaviour)
Expected result: Describe here what should happen after you run the steps above (i.e. what would be the correct behaviour)
Device info
Device: iPhone 13Pro
iOS version: 17.0.3
Signal version: 6.45.0.11
