I think there is not much to say other than you must upgrade to the latest Version through HACS.
Have you checked Beta Versions is enabled?
Sometimes the dropdown menus stays on an older version and you have to manuelly change it to the new version.
I'm affraid I'm stuck at this same issue: Unable to install package myPyllant==0.8.12: ERROR: Cannot install mypyllant==0.8.12 because these package versions have conflicting dependencies. ERROR: ResolutionImpossible: for help visit https://pip.pypa.io/en/latest/topics/dependency-resolution/#dealing-with-dependency-conflicts Downloaded 0.8.3, restartet HA, still on 0.7.3 Enabled Beta versions, downloaded 0.8.3, restartet HA, still on 0.7.3

Mmmh i found that in the manifest .json file of the latest version there is still version 0.7.3, so i think problem is not on my side. Please @signalkraft update manifest file to reflect current version.
Should work in the latest release https://github.com/signalkraft/mypyllant-component/releases/tag/v0.8.4
I'm sure i'm missing something but... On Github latest version is 0.8.2, but in Homeassistant integrations i see 0.7.3. Is this normal? I'm sure i updated to the latest version..
