This module is currently limited to silverstripe/framework ^4. We should update this to work with framework ^5 - from a quick look, minimal changes would be necessary.

Alternatively, Guy is maintaining a more featureful equivalent to this module's functionality - https://github.com/GuySartorelli/silverstripe-composable-validators/
