OS X: clean up interactions with the interface builder file #39

  1. Document how to rebuild the nib file without bringing all of Sil into Xcode.
  2. Rebuild the nib file with a recent version of Xcode and use that.
  3. Remove a couple of things that may have been linked with the interface builder in the past but are not linked with it in recent versions.
