Nice dropping of "latest". cringe I think our "latest" ubuntu is 16.04 or 18.04, last I checked.

Yeah, we should probably push most recent version branch into master.

@jason-jackson All these PR's are part of the gradual, iterative process of getting ssp-base and the modules upgraded.
