I'm trying to get the \mt1 and \mt2 and first \s lines to not be so separated.
Here is the \mt1 setup:

I'm not seeing anything here that raises any flags. But this is what I'm seeing in the PDF:
Anybody know a trick I'm missing?
(Turning off Intro and Outline options made NO difference.)
In #892 Mark suggested using negative numbers in the Space Before and Space After styes for \mt1 and \mt2:
