Diglot layout issues - primary outside + hyphenation #916

I'm creating some configurations to demonstrate diglot layouts with PTXPrint. I'm using a GNT (Good News) English + FCR (Francais courant). 2 items are puzzling me.

  1. The primary text is moving from left column (odd page) to right column (even page). In other words - the primary text is being set on the inside column. I don't actually see that layout option in PTXPrint. I can't see how to keep primary always on left.

  2. Both project configurations have hyphenation enabled. When I print them separately, hyphenation works. When join in a diglot, only the primary text is hyphenated.

I have sent an archive by email.

Using: PTXPrint 2.3.51

1) Under Layout, if you un-check "Mirror Pages", does that fix the problem?

Having never hyphenated, I can't help with #2.

Thanks, Malachi -- Yep - that was it for 1.

Issue 2 is probably a bug and may take a little thinking.

Archive is in the usual place, and named: GNTPTXP-A5-Diglot-FCR-Gentium-9_5-11_5PTXprintArchive.zip

Can't complete the test since the archive doesn't contain the hyphenated words for the secondary project (Did you create it?). Happy to let you test it though :)

klassenjm commented 7 months ago

I did create it. It's in my shared\ptxprint folder. (no promise that it's actually good French hyphenation -- just auto-generated at this point)

hyphen-FCR18.zip

@mhosken Is there something to follow-up on for testing this issue?
