The screen shots will make this MUCH easier to diagnose. Thanx!

The problem is that I mistakenly included an old set of domain theory files
(.thy files) in the ZIP, instead of the latest set which uses only universal
dates.
All old copies have been eradicated. A new ZIP of the correct files has been
sent to Sharon.

I followed your instructions sent directly to me, i.e. decompressed zipped file
and moved the DT files into right place, replacing old files.
I then relaunched SILKin, selected a silk file (Claire MQL), and tried to "Get
New suggestions".
This time, no error message came up. There was some apparent chuntering (ie
something seemed to be happening). The chuntering stopped, then nothing. During
the chuntering, the 'Editing: Claire MQL.silk' text at the very top of SILKin,
shifted slightly to the right. When chuntering stopped, it shifted back to the
left.
So, problem solved in terms of eliminating the error message, but still no new
suggestions...
okay, I think I've just realised that the new suggestions don't actually appear
automatically in a separate window - for some reason, this is what I was
expecting. I went and reread the Suggestions section in Help and the fact that
the suggestions don't automatically appear is implied by the following phrase:
"You can review the Suggestions immediately or later.- this is what I was
expecting."
Maybe it would be good to add something to the Help section explaining this
more explicitly.
Having realised that there was no pop-up window, I went to "Act on Suggestions"
and, sure enough, there is a list of suggestions :-)
So, it seems that this particular problem (eliminating error and generating
suggestions) has been resolved.
