Problem with EngTestSynthetic.silk #9

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opened the .silk file. successfully
2. Assigned my name as a new user
3. I clicked on the fem. symbol for Birth W in order to edit/enter data to
check date format

What is the expected output?
I expected to see Birth W appear as the current alter.

What do you see instead?
She did appear as the current alter, but with the following dialogue box on top:
FYI: Exception while trial-fitting an accepted def.
java.lang.NullPointerException

The dialogue box had an 'ok' button, which I clicked and it went away.

I then tried selecting Party Thyme to see her as the current alter and got the
following dialogue box:
Ref dyads: 184 Adr dyads: = 0 ktmTerms: 206 - 20 = 186 ktmCells: 382
Clicked ok and gave up.

I then clicked ok and gave up trying to do anything else with this silk file.

My bad!! EngTest Synthetic.silk is a built-by-hand file I created for Gary
Simons'use in developing his XSL file. ALL THE DATA IS HOKEY AND INCONSISTENT.
It cannot be used for testing. (I erroneously included it in the ZIP file; I
apologize.)

The next ZIP file will not contain any synthetic data.

This warning has been posted long enough, and all testers have been alerted.
Closing it out.
