flickering titlebar tooltip gets pinned to the mouse cursor

This is a follow up for "flickering titlebar tooltip gets pinned to the mouse cursor - ID: 3590078" Problem is not fuly solved (sorry I was not fast enough to answer before the bug closure). The fix does improve a bit the behavior, but there's still a problem with the tooltip which gets stuck in the middle of the window. Screenshot attatched

your screenshot is not very descriptive. either mark the spot in question with a big red circle. or just describe the issue with words.

i can not reproduce the problem you are reporting. so, include your settings.

Ok, so the tooltip doesn't get pinned to the mouse cursor anymore, that part seems to be fixed. Now it gets stuck in the middle of the screen for about 5-10 seconds, which is anyway not its place. It happens as before with Thunderbird and Firefox (I guess because of the tooltip width), There is no crash or freeze, so this is really just an annoying cosmetic issue. The workaround "session.screen0.tooltipDelay: 10000" still works fine.

Regarding my configuration:

Arch Linux i686 Fluxbox git from 13/01 xorg-server 1.13.1-1 linux 3.6.11-1

Any logs I could collect?

Issue resolved: I didn't try the patch, as I updated the git build first and the issue is gone in today's revision (20130115). Going back to the version from Sunday (20130113) and the problem is back. I guess you just committed the timer patch - seems to work fine.
