Chromium Window and Desktop Background do not refresh when RSS Live Links sub window expands beyond Parent Window

Using a Chromium extension called, RSS Live Links, a subwindow expands beyond the Chromium window. When it retracts, the portion of the Chromium window that was covered by the subwindow, as well the desktop background, does not get refreshed, but replaced by a white rectangle (see attachments).

I tried to reproduce this problem using the same browser and extension using LXDE and it wasn't affected. After checking in at #fluxbox on freenode, it was suggested I file a bug report.

i toyed around with chrome/chromium and several of the reported bugs associated with it: it seems that upstream fixed some of the issue. i can not reproduce this bug here anymore, can you please confirm?
