Slit and Toolbar issue #1123

Open sillysloft opened 9 years ago

sillysloft commented 9 years ago

Since the last update (to 1.3.6 on Manjaro Linux) clicking no mouse button on slit produces the applications menu.

And right clicking on toolbar doesn't produce toolbar pereferences menu. I can only reach these on middle clicking on toolbar (since I've got pcmanfm-qt to manage/draw the desktop).

Well, I've got conky on slit if it matters.

rightclick-toolbar: that changed to middle-click, it was a "bug".

clicking-no-mouse-button-on-slit: what? you do not click and the menu pops up?

Original comment by: akir

sillysloft commented 9 years ago

I mean I've so arranged that left-clicking on slit (i.e. on conky) would pop up the menu previously. Now it doesn't. And neither any other mouse button does.

you run conky like what? how does it end up in the slit?

OnSlit Mouse1 :RootMenu OnSlit Mouse2 :RootMenu OnSlit Mouse3 :RootMenu

None of them works.

"OnSlit" is not a valid modifier. never was.

Original comment by: akir

sillysloft commented 9 years ago

Yet it used to work previously. So I gather there isn't an alternative either, so no mouse click on slit?

All right, not a big issue, though it was a convenience having half the width of the upper edge of the screen (my slit) to get an easy, left-click menu. I'll use the middle click on toolbar from now on. Thanks.

All right, no problem with closing the issue, middle click on toolbar is better, easier in my case.
