I am using 0.9.3+cvs20030611 Debian unstable.

As other fluxusers before mentioned problems with fullscreen modes of different software, i think it looks like this part of fluxbox needs some attention.

My experiences:

No Go Mozilla 1.4, Firebird 0.6 / 0.6.1: the window titlebar stays (Btw in flux 0.1.14 Mozilla did it but Firebird not) totem 0.99.2 (no fullscr at all...)

Go Ironically one of the few non-free soft, Opera, i am using sometimes does fs correct.

I'm using Fluxbox (cvs 2003.09.11) and Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1+, and full screen works great for me. The web page takes up the entire screen area. There are no window borders or decorations, and the fluxbox task bar is not showing either.

I've just done _NET_WM_STATE_FULLSCREEN support, so now cvs (0.9.6pre9 or above) should work at least for mozilla and firebird. Not sure about totem, but hopefully it as well.

cbennett - you must have magic fluxbox :-) If you have moz setup to not have decorations then it'd work, since it seems to at least resize itself. The proper fullscreen thing does actually take out the decorations too.
