style change does not change style using background.pixmap #771

version 1.0rc3 , compiled on SuSE 10.0 (also with 1.0rc2 rpm) ,changing a style does not change bacground despite change in the style file to background.pixmap:<imagefile>

i elieve this is the new way that is meant to be done

fbsetbg run from an xterm works fine

The odds are fantastic that you're just not doing it correctly (and I admit the documentation on it isn't fantastic).

You need a line that says "background: fullscreen" (or it doesn't really matter what it says, so long as the background: part exists). Then, you need a line that says "background.pixmap: ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/whatever.png".
