2.2 placeholder storage buttons do not work in Brave Browser #38

I installed 2.2 in the Brave browser and wanted to import stickers and placeholders. But the "import file" and "import folder" buttons do not do anything, as if there was no function to them.

As covered in the Installation guide's troubleshooting steps the Brave developers have disabled File System Access APIs for extensions.

That's needed for things like placeholder import and local censoring.

There's nothing I can do about it since the browser itself has disabled the entire API.
