input[type="text"] broken in IE #103

- What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run document.querySelector('input[type="text"]') on a page with an input of 
type "text"

- What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should return the matched input. Instead returns null.

- What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.0. IEs 7 and 7 affected

Please provide any additional information below.
