Provide custom implementation of the map method #59

As per the description.

The method is needed to resolve one of the two failing tests in https://github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-framework/issues/9235.

@michalkleiner What would you like to do with this PR? Are you going to do some further work on this one, or would you prefer to close this now?

I think it's time to close this 9 month old PR

I'd prefer it was fixed so that ORM tests could be run locally without having to use MySQL or PgSQL. I may look into it again and open a new PR if I find some time.
