Red Brick 70A Motor stocks at 50% throttle #138

Hello,

I bought this engine: Turnigy Air Brushless Motor 3730-1000kv (3s-4s 580W) : hobbyking.com/en_en/turnigy-ld...ushless-motor-1000kv.html And in addition to that a wrong ESC Hobbyking Red Brick 70A ESC V2: hobbyking.com/de_de/hobbyking-red-brick-70a-esc-1.html. Wrong because I want to install the motor in a boat and the motor has to turn forwards and backwards. I didn't know the ESC didn't support it.

Now I tried to flash the ESC with simonk firmware. I used the rb70a.inc. The flashing was successful, the ESC also works, but unfortunately the ESC seems to give throttle too fast or to be out of sync at full throttle. When I slowly accelerate, the motor starts, a bit rough, but running. When I'm at about 50% throttle, the motor stops and twitches. I have already tried to calibrate the gas several times, but unfortunately without success.

Can you help me? Many thanks greetings Eddie

i get it solved.... i found this topic: https://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/thr...ramming/page2?

He shows in his video a rb70a3 file. So i googled for this file and found it here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ah...0a3/rb70a3.inc

i have only paste the the text over the rb70a2 and flashed the firmware and now the motor is running in both directions very nice.

thanks and greets eddie
