This layout needs some redesign #4

@codeadict @rattlehead666 @naveen09 I didn't like those icons from the beginning, too complicated. Doesn't match our minimalist / simple vision.

These are the ones we should use, similar to the original app mockups:

Pet Profiles: this icon. Question: this icon. Vet Profiles: this icon. Animal Hospitals: this icon.

Then we can put the circle around all of them like this icon already has.

The buttons need more spacing and "Emergency" should be bold, as it should stand out among all other buttons. Proper utilization of space often makes apps look better.

But think with a button is better aproach than using a LinearLayout

yeah but the drawableLeft used with button attribute is making the image overlap with that red strip,if we can solve that button its great but i dont think we can adjust the image to be closer to the text .Although here is attribute drawablePadding but it can increase the padding around it ,there is no way to decrease the padding. we can photoshop the image to have some padding on the left.

yes maybe adding a transparent space on image itself

don't you think we should come up with some concrete solution and btw linear layout can act as a button . Yeah and the login activity is force closing because facebook sdk is not initialized.

Yes i'm solving facebook issue now, yesterday was so late 3 am , yes we can do using a linear layout and add some animation to look like button on future

@rattlehead666 looks much better now; is the magnifying glass a different (darker) color than the other icons?

@rattlehead666 no problem! to be completely honest, every icon looks great except the magnifying glass. If you check out the other icons, they're bold and kind of match each other. The one we're currently using is too narrow; try this or this instead.

no i have no knowledge of the changes to be performed. and about that profile page i think @codeaddict might be working on that but if not i can work on that tommorow. btw what changes?
