Wondering why you have chosen unshielded RJ45 keystone jacks and connectors to go with shielded Cat 6A cable. I thought shielded jacks and connectors should be used with shielded cable to get the benefit of the shield.

@baskaransubr Yes that would be more ideal, but isn't always required. Also shielded connectors are significantly more difficult to crimp and install for negligible gain. The fact of the matter is, if you're running cable through residential walls, you're likely going to have Ethernet runs running parallel to power lines or across other sources of interference. So the shielded cable is much more important than shielded connectors.

We've personally used unshielded cat 5e in homes before and had no issues even at 10GBe speeds. So shielded cat 6a is fairly overkill for most people who are going to be running things at 1g speeds even still.
