Hi there. I'll enter the parameter values in "2. Run the Docker Container", How do I find out what each value is?

You'll get them from your device manufacturer and from the dashboards of the respective services. If you don't know them it is fine. Try to leave them blank and where possible they default to something usable.

You can also consult the containers documentation as well. https://github.com/simeononsecurity/docker-rtklib-onocoy-rtkdirect

Thank you for contacting me. Sorry for repeating myself,

Quadruple Mining DePin GPS Projects: Geodnet, Onocoy, RTKDirect, and FrysCrypto (simeononsecurity.com)

(1) Is it correct to enter the values for the purple characters in the script on the above homepage? (2) Same as (1) above, can I enter any value for the yellow and white characters?

(3) Regarding FRYCRYPTO, " Note: We do not recommend doing anything with FrysCrypto. Don't invest anything you aren't willing to lose". Is it correct to say that FRY does not have much future potential?

I'm sorry for repeating myself. I'm sorry for repeating myself.

The colors are just syntax highlights. You should do your best to fill in every variable where possible.

As far as frys crypto goes, they collect data without verification and reward all like devices with the same amount regardless of data quality. Additionally for the majority of the data they collect they do not collect high quality enough data to sell it assuming a market even exists for the data, which for most of the devices it doesn't. They are a 100% hype project. The token and the data they collect is 100% worthless. With this all in mind we do not endorse fryscrypto in any way. You're welcome to look into it further and do what you'd like however.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Everyone is actively explaining about FRYCRYPTO on YOUTUBE and other sites. Yes, there is an emphasis on just getting paid, but no one has paid attention to the data. RTK is still in its infancy in Japan and is not a major player. I will ask some more questions and thank you in advance.

Sorry again. About the splitter, What are the main differences between the cheap splitters sold on Amazon and other places and the more expensive splitters?

DC Power Blocking. GPS antennas are almost all "Active" antennas, meaning they are powered. You don't want that power to be reflected back or cause any redirection issues. The cheap splitters do not have any protections in place for this.

Thanks again and again. I am learning a lot!

Hello, really appreciated your published this great summary. In my case I tried to avoid 3rd party NTRIP Caster (Emlid Caster etc.) and deployed my own. It seems this part works fine.

Note: Originaly my NTRIP-X station was connected directly to Onocoy, so I'm pretty sure my creds and mountpoint is correct (I've reached validated status before too).

Then I tried to forward from my deployed NTRIP Caster to Onocoy via your described str2str method however failed. Tried couple of things but I never got connected to the servers.onocoy.com - I got timeout in each case, even increased timeout to 60s (-s 60000). When I switched to ntripserver like you have implemented in simeononsecurity/docker-rtklib-onocoy-rtkdirect docker image, everything started to work as expected.

I'm wondering if something changed on Onocoy side over the time and str2str isn't possible nowadays or is there other issue? In my working case on input and output I use NTRIP Caster v2 in HTTP/ TCP/IP mode (-M 7, -O 1) and the only difference is that your input is IP server (-M 2 -> another str2str instance).

Also wondering if lines https://github.com/simeononsecurity/docker-rtklib-onocoy-rtkdirect/blob/278787596f0e081735fbff3c65dc14a7dc09c4d4/docker-init.sh#L66 and https://github.com/simeononsecurity/docker-rtklib-onocoy-rtkdirect/blob/278787596f0e081735fbff3c65dc14a7dc09c4d4/docker-init.sh#L77 are correct because I'm missing cmdline switches before each ENVVAR -p, -i, -a (e.g. -a $ANTENNA)

Cheers, PaJaSoft

Ah, I can't edit my post, so the last para is outdated, I've missed https://github.com/simeononsecurity/docker-rtklib-onocoy-rtkdirect/blob/main/docker-init.sh#L36-L52 part which explains that...
