Title says it, a way to create a dimensional Anomaly.

maybe by overloading some not sufficiently stabilized machine (if you want to use more than 1 nether star speed upgrade, you'd have to use stabilizers on the machine (but upgrades stack: 6x/36x/216x/1296x). if you don't, radiation will increase dramatically, damaging even android players and setting blocks on fire (1 upgrade more than you should have), vaporizing nearby blocks and spawning small energy rifts/fire balls/wisps/similar things (2 upgrades more than stabilizers) or have a chance to create a gravitational anomaly (4 upgrades @ no powered stabilizers))

Oh maybe just make a iron dense mass (blocks of iron pilled or diamond blocks in a sphere) Then maybe use the gravitional stabilisers (reverse mode)

I'd prefer using the most compressed cobblestone block from ExtraUtilities. If this machine is added, of course.

Well the problem is it has to work with the mod itself.

You cant just make it use compress cobble else the mod would depend on another mod.

It would be cool to see an anomaly created by overloading a machine of some sort, such as a failed complicated experiment that explodes. An explosion and a anomaly is created. I'm excited and waiting patiently to see if explosives for pvp purposes will ever be implemented. I'd like to blow up someones base after a good raid or if i can't get in teleport in and blow it up.

using compressed cobblestone would be possible by detecting whether EU is installed, and changing the recipe according to that (or just require an item with >10M kM - afaik octuple compressed cobblestone is the only item with a matter value in this range (though solar expansion ultimate solar panels come close, with about 3M kM) (nether star:1k kM)

strategic weapons would be cool too, but just creating a useable, small anomaly doesn't sound like a weapon to me at all (the dangerous thing with the machine failure depicted above wouldn't be the anomaly itself, but a) the side effects and b) the anomaly boosting due to dropped items and expensive machines in the vicinity of the affected machine).

Or, if Extra Utilities is installed, use Dense Cobblestone, or maybe Applied Energistics' Matter Condensor thing, and if not, add Dense Cobblestone or use something similar.

@ajthemacboy thats kinda what i said. AE singularities would be an option, but they are like REALLY easy to caft (256k cobble is enough for one, while 1 octuple compressed cobblestone needs a couple millions of normal cobblestone (9^8)).

If you want a way to make singularities, make a crafting recipie for the creative item with Minetweaker.
