nightly build appears two months old #42

On the installation page
http://code.google.com/p/nctoolbox/wiki/Installation
it says that risk takers may download the "nightly build" from 
 https://github.com/acrosby/nctoolbox_recent

But it appears that this code is two months old, and doesn't incorporate the 
latest changes in the NCTOOLBOX trunk from March
http://code.google.com/p/nctoolbox/source/list

I was trying to help a new user, who downloaded the "featured" zip from Feb 5.  
When they showed me the problem, I said, "oh yeah, that was fixed a few weeks 
ago" -- go get the "risk takers" zip.  But then that didn't work either.  
Needless to say, the new user is not totally impressed.

I will upload a new zip file, but we need to figure out a better system of 
making the latest source available.  (or just edit the wiki to say "random 
version" instead of "nightly build").   ;-(

The definitive system for the newest source is the mercurial repository. If a 
user is uncomfortable using the repository, they likely should not be using the 
development version of the toolbox. I will update the github mirror, but there 
is no guarantee that it will always contain the most up-to-date source, 
particularly when little testing has been done on the current code base.

I agree that the definitive source is the mercurial repository, but I don't 
think that just wanting the latest source means you should have to learn how to 
use mercurial.  I thought that's what your github clone was providing.  But now 
I'm not sure what the value of the github clone is, if it just provides a 
snapshot of some random version that may be weeks or months old.   I suggest we 
just take that link off, and upload a new zip file to google code when we want 
to "release" something.
