Remove Textured Voxels? #176

Over Christmas I'll rework the data structure. Should we remove textured voxels all together? Do we see a use case for them? Anyone?

I vote to maintain this feature, Voxel Shop is the unique that has it

As rubengc said it's one of the unique feature the voxelshop has, i also agree on keeping it. But if it get in the way, we may consider removing it cause exported mesh can easily be re-textured in most 3d editor.

But the texture on each voxel should be in the final optimized texture so, doing re-texturing in other 3D soft would not be so easy.

@funalab it is not the unique but yes one of the most interesting

This feature and layers has make me interest on this editor

A feature that really needs to be in voxel shop is a way to rendering, thats the unique thing that does voxel artists use another software (as Unity, or magica voxel) to get the last screenshot and share the final result

Renderer takes some time to implement so don't know what to say about that, but i also don't think simlu is against using magica for rendering. :D

MrTopom i was talking about the mesh as a whole anything otherwise won't obviously be easy to do.

Still got some time to decide. It would just make things much easier (=faster) when defining the data structure and supporting larger models...
