Feature request : radio stations from gonic #190

Gonic has a nice feature where you can share your radio stations, would it be possible to also add it on bonob ?

(it's not that important if it was me I would really really want to have folder view first !)

I've been thinking about adding radio station support actually.

What do you mean by 'share' radio stations? (Sorry I don't currently use gonic)

If gonic exposes them over the subsonic api then I'm hopefully that adding support should not be that difficult

I think this is the case, I'm not really deep into how the subsonic protocol works, but there's a part in gonic where you can add webradios and this does appear in Symfonium.

Navidrome also supports radio stations - would be amazing to see this supported in bonob.

side note: just got my first sonos and set up bonob - very easy setup procedure and works like a charme. already loving this. thanks for this project.

I've started looking into this, first I needed to find some radio stations, turns out the browser supports less formats than the Sonos.

So I managed to get something to work, I need to do some tidy up and more testing, however should have something you can try in a week or so.

The latest master build/image supports the radio stations I tried it with. Would be better if it had the station icons, however the subsonic api doesnt seem to support icons for radio stations. Give it a try and let me know how it goes?

Hell yeah it works ! But as you said I'm sure the subsonic API doesn't give icons for radio stations.

Doesn't matter, I can finally dump Tunein ! <3
