How can I create exp1.dat file using my LIDAR (slamtec) #34

Hi, Can you please help to get the answer for following questions. 1) How can I create exp1.dat file using my slamtec LIDAR A1? 2) Is it possible to use this BreezySLAM code + SLAMTEC LIDAR A1 device for robot navigation. Have interfaced motors to raspberry pi3 board and connect lidar to USB port, now I would like to move the robot inside the room for navigation. can you please provide some insights on this as I am newbie for this system. Thanks for the help.
