Scroll mouse wheel doesn't work with side tabs #47

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make checked "Scroll mouse wheel on the tab strip to switch tabs";
2. Open few windows.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Tabs should switch when the mouse wheel is scrolled. They do only in one
window, not in all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome Toolbox 1.0.24.
Google Chrome 13.0.782.1 dev-m.
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1.

I got the same problem. Scrolling does not switch tabs.

Same issue - scrolling of tabs with mouse wheel only works on first window.
Since this functionality was the last thing keeping me from making a full
migration from firefox to chrome, I was incredibly grateful to find this
extension. Please try to fix this issue or let us know how to correct it on
our end.

You can fix this from the "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center."
Under the basic settings for the scroll wheel on the mouse, there's an option
called "Identify programs that don't scroll correctly..."
Click on it, find Chrome in the list, and select it.

Attached below is an image showing the menu.

As a side note, this fix will only work if you're using a microsoft mouse, and
the software microsoft provides for it.

I have this problem, but only for some windows, and only some of the time. It's
not a problem with chrome or my mouse, it's a problem with chrome toolbox.
