"Confirm before closing multiple tabs" not working #53

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clicking the 'X' of the window with my email tabs.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I should see a warning about closing multiple tabs, instead the window closes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Chrome 12.0.742.100
Chrome Toolbox 1.0.24
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 32-bit

Please provide any additional information below.

I've had several instances where I've accidentally clicked the 'X' on the
window containing my email and iGoogle tabs and Chrome Toolbox has failed to
warn me that I'm closing multiple tabs by closing the window. I've doubled
checked that I do have the "Confirm before closing multiple tabs" option
checked. It seems this is a bug and happens intermittently. I just tried again
on another window with 2 tabs open and I did see the warning.

I also have this issue, except for me it's not even intermittently - I never
see the confirmation anymore. I tried unticking and reticking the box in the
options, I even tried reinstalling Toolbox, but to no avail.

I hope this issue gets fixed soon, as I have a boyfriend with the annoying
habit to open a new tab for himself and then close the entire window when he's
done - including the tabs I had opened!
