"Don't close current browser window when closing last tab" not working when Text Search is open #57

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open just 1 tab to a site with text 
2. Press Ctrl+F to open the Text Search and enter some text
3. Click on the X of the only tab.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output should be my home/start up page (I'm using the New Tab with 
thumbnails).

Instead Chrome closes down completely, as if the "Don't close current browser 
window when closing last tab" flag was not set.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 12.0.742.100
XP Home SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
Behaviour is persistent. No other information needed.
