Building is very straightforward - once you've got your paid developer account all set up, make sure your device is selected (rather than Simulator) and press Run.
That's it! You'll get a black screen, at which point you can unplug your iPhone and start using the Maps app.

Even if it's as simple as a line or two. I'm not super familiar w/ XCode and haven't tried to install this, but that would definitely lower the barrier to entry. Thanks for the clever solution!
