You should set the default codepage to GBK in Options->General->Defaults.
Issue 38 is also related with this problem.

about 1: i set all of them to Chnese. is there any problem? I was using other notepads too, and they work well on my os with such setting. so i am sure it's pn's fault.
i like it very much, though i can not bare such BUGs. i will keep on using pn, so plese help me with this problem.
a new bug, when i use autocomplete, sometimes an alert pop out, and close my pn after i press OK. it happens just after i press "Enter"key to complete a word from the list.
and something else, can pn highlight css in html?

In my opinion, you'd better find out how the problem could be repeated on someone else's computer, then it would probably be easier for the author to locate the bug. Since the issue has been closed, maybe you could create a new issue when you find out somthing.
Also, as of the other problems, it's better to create some new issues for them separately.
