A question about vmultia HID device #119

Actually, this is not an issue. It's just something I found interesting with Touchmote and I am curious about the theory. I think maybe you will be interested. Feel free to close the issue as it is not real an issue.

My OS is Windows 10. I installed Touchmote to use Wiimote on Windows. I noticed in Device Manager a vmultia HID device can't be removed. I traced up-stream and found it comes with Touchmote. Meanwhile, I was trying PS2 controller to USB converter. After further test, I found Touchmote made one of the converter working in Windows 10. What a coincidence. It's interesting, I think.

I have a 2 port PlationStation 2 controller to USB converter. Looks like:

61JqbVd8BgL

Before installing Touchmote, Windows 10 recognizes it a USB GamePad with YELLOW exclamation. After Touchmote installed, the converter can be recognized and functional. The YELLOW exclamation is gone.

I have another 1 port PlationStation 2 controller to USB converter. It looks like:

61T6Q4FgOeS

Windows 10 recognizes it a USB GamePad with YELLOW exclamation, with or without Touchmote installed.

These two converter are labeled with FlashFire. They are quite old products, roughly 20 years old. If not for Touchmote, I can't get any converter working in Windows 10. I am glad Touchmote saved my converter, at least one of them.
