No scrobble cache being submitted

For the past five days or so, none of the audio I've listened to on my smartphone has scrobbled. It is getting stuck in cache. I decided to uninstall the app, install the newer version and clear all app data, but I am experiencing the same issue. I have attached a screenshot of the error messages I am getting. (while the app currently isn't allowing me to log into to my last.fm account, even before when I was logged in, I was encountering this issue)

(and I should also mention that my desktop scrobbler is facing the same issue. I only seem to be able to scrobble through Spotify at the moment)

I use an Android phone and play music via Poweramp.
