@Jivings: Do you think your deep linking should be using replace instead of push state? Because i do like the deep linking functionality but i basically never want to hit back in my browser to remove/change my filter, it feels very weird.
Eg I just went to SA from a tweet and filtered a bit and then had to hit back 10 times to get back to twitter
Maybe especially because filtering is only 1 or two items deep it feels unnecessary to keep loads of history items. So if you keep it as push state then it makes more sense that clearing the filter would also clear that part of the history state too
