Custom Coordinate systems or Projects? #133

I want to use Polymaps for a custom map for a fictional game world. It's just a flat map of a game world, not of a planet or spherical body. I can bring in my own map tiles easy enough, but is it possible for me to customize the coordinate system on the map?
