Bug: Videos or images in any group is gone after 2 days + solution

Any media that is posted in a group, can't load after couple of days. Please fix this.

Possible solution to this, is making the media files sync across the members who already have cached the video or image in their client making it possible for other members to be able to download the media after the file expires in the server.

Losing media in just 2 days is horrible, you can't see what people posted if you don't use simplex more than 2 days. This is really wrong, hope it gets fixed soon.

It's by default set to never, but in every group chat media expires after couple of days, and it's impossibly to load any video or picture

All media files are deleted 48 hours after upload from servers, as seen in PRIVACY.md The files are stored on file relay servers for the time configured in the relay servers you use (48 hours for preset file servers).

As for now, if you want to have media stored on servers for more than 2 days, run your own server or upload it somewhere else, encrypt and link it (messages are stored 21 days)

This makes very difficult to use simplex, just to extend media expiration having even a server running with the with app. This betterbe fixed with alternative method. Like letting other y Users in the group being able the receive from your ready media, so there's no more difficulties being able to catch media without setting a separate server just for that. This is too much for a simple privacy messenger. It's a very big problem, and it needs to be fixed

This can be solved just by torrent style file sharing, when you have the file you can share it and others in the group can view the media whenever they need. This is just best solution, please make people normally use simplex, not the way that any media you see in any simplex group becomes unavailable after 2 days
