In any group if admin set the dm option open, then anybody can dm you, and there's lot of spams that way, and you can't prevent random people messaging you. I hope this problems will be solved in the future

oh I get it, you want to add ability to disable direct messaging for yourself against group owner's will

Yes because if group admin opens the dms then anybody without your consent can write you and spam you.
