For example: lets say, i have a colony. I have a buncha random guns i got from raids. I have people who are good at shooting and who should carry a gun, but i cant set all my people who are good at shooting to just carry a heavy SMG when i only have 1 heavy smg but still have 10 other good guns each of various types. Being able to set some more filters for an item that is valid and fills the need the tag sets would be nice.
What i had in mind:
Hold one of any of these items: IE you could have a tag that gets a pawn to hold one item that passes through various storage filters.
(compatability with mod-added storage filters would be nice but i think thats handled automatically by the game? IIRC AFAIK, idk for sure). so with my mod list, idk if its a mod or not but i have options for neolithic to ultra in terms of tech levels. So i could have a filter for any ranged weapon that is of tech level spacer or higher
Market value: pick a weapon that is above, below ,or bounded above or bellow by a certain price range
really, with these two filtering abilities youd have a very competent system for letting colonists automatically grab good guns. if a weapon is expensive and its a spacer weapon its probably the kind of gun i want my best shooter to have. it doesnt matter if its a "smart smg" or "royal charge rifle" specifically though, IMO.
