SATA HDD not found during install #177

Hi, I'm really new to OpenCore. I have a T460s i7 6600U with sata ssd Samsung 850 evo. I'm using ThinkPad-T460s-macOS-OpenCore V 0.8.0 and try to install monterey.

BIOS settings are as described in this installation guide
with version 0.8.5 I had a boot loop so I tried 0.8.0 and there the installer starts correctly
config is unchanged from 0.8.0 delivery

The installer starts, but when to select the destination drive, there is only the OPENCORE USB Stick, no HDD

What am I doing wrong?

I solved the problem by formatting the hdd with apfs first.
