ride is lost when simra is closed, while recording is running

Reproduce

1. record a ride
2. while recording open app switcher and swipe app to the top to close it

Currently

The app closes and the ride is lost.

Expected

A few options.

• show a dialog that a recording is ongoing and ask whether the user wants to stop recording
• in case the recording must be stopped and there is no option to continue, make sure to store the ride until the current location and only then close the app and stop the recording, so no information is lost
• with Osmand app I noticed that even after closing the app, a widget with the navigation was still active. If something similar is possible or simra-android that would be amazing

Update after playing with simra app a bit more somehow the ride surfaced. I have no idea why it did not show earlier. It was a long ride ~50 km, maybe simra needed time to process the ride?

Sadly all incidents I added during the ride via the optional close pass button are not showing up, which is a pity.

Another strange aspect is, that even after the app was closed that ride did actually continue recording till my destination. I am pretty sure I opened simra again in the hope the recording would continue. but I saw the start screen with no active recording, so there is some misbehavior.
