When choosing the region in the Profile settings, it's unclear if the setting applies to all future uploads or to all future recordings.
Especially when recording rides in different regions, and the rides are not uploaded yet, there's no option to set the correct region for each ride.
My suggestion would be to be able to choose the region for each ride individually.
