As of right now there isn't any events in NWO regarding the role of Vietnamese ethnic minorities such as the Khmer Krom, Champa and the various tribes that lived in the Northern and Central highlands in the Indochina Wars. These ethnic minorities had a quite interesting role in the Indochinese Wars with some of them waging their own nationalist rebellions against both the North and South Vietnamese governments, having their own autonomous regions for a few decades, playing key roles in how the Indochinese Wars were fought with many generals and members of the special forces coming from the tribes of the Vietnamese highlands and also there was quite considerable tension between these ethnic minorities and the Vietnamese ethnic group particularly during when Ngo Dinh Diem was president of South Vietnam and the aftermath of 1979 Sino Vietnamese War. Also another thing to note I think events for the role of religious groups such as Hòa Hảo and Cao Đài and loose coalitions of gangs such as Bình Xuyên during the Indochinese War could be created as some of these groups were powerful enough to have private armies.
