by respscorp I also encountered the following issues. I'm not sure if they are bugs or deliberate design decisions: 1)Most tank technology only enhances artillery. 2)Most advanced military aircraft technology enhances regular fighters, making them the best planes for the late game. 3)Military units have a lot of redundancy or unclear roles. There is no "cavalry" unit for unaccepted culture soldier pops. "Modern" unit types start as straight upgrades, but can end-up weaker than their traditional counterpart. 4)Capital ships can only be built on your "home" continent, even if you are a multi-continent state with cores everywhere. 5)Navy tech is full of old vanilla game inventions. Perhaps a general military pass is due at some point with a redesign towards either a more realistic or more "gamey" units. Example - units can be more abstract combined arms army units with specific roles - e.g. Airforce, Strategic Airforce, Motorized, Mechanized, Air Mobile, Armor, Support, Special Forces

1) Tough simsulla is not knowledge in military things, this is by design, as the era of the tanks was WW2 and shortly there after. in modern warfare missils (artillery) has made them no mor the master of the battle field. 2) corrected

4) this is a fair limitation that make game play more challenging. No action.

On the suggestions; they are good. Feel free to implement according to your preference, if it works the changes will get into the mod.
