Use Case

It would be nice if users could see distances labeled on the tick marks of the bounding box in 3D, instead of relying only on the scale bar in the bottom right.

Acceptance Criteria

Users can see distance labels on the bounding box that rotate interactively with the scene, while not getting distracted by them.

Details

Need a solution for how many tick marks to display labels and how to decide which ones, in order to facilitate understanding of scale but not be obtrusive.

This needs UX design

Suggestion: If there are numbers on the tick marks, then maybe we could remove the scale bar and just have a toggle to show/hide the numbers.
