Use Case

Allow users to preview what their embedded code snippet will look like in sharing UI.

I looked at a bunch of embed UIs,

reddit and YouTube are the only ones that had previews. Neither of them toggled the preview on and off.

If we're going to do a preview, I think the YouTube side by side approach is nice (although I would have it embedded and not just full screen like that). I think we could just not show it if your window isn't wide enough instead of having a toggle. Personally I'd put it on the right instead too.

Other options:

  1. it could be below the embed section and scroll.
  2. tabs that differentiate between links and embed, would give the modal more room to include a preview without a scroll
