I went ahead and added the nix installation section to the readme with this PR :)
PS: A minor FYI for you as the maintainer: The nixpkgs build version, will always embed the correct git commit after https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/305699 has been merged and will use the date of the commit and not whenever the build was run. Which is why you will see differences between the binary packages from GitHub and from nixpkgs :)
